American Greetings goes private with Koch help




The Weiss family has taken American Greetings Corp. private,

the

Wichita Business Journal

reported

. The price of the Weisses’ buyout of the company was about $600 million, the article said.

Koch AG Investment, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, helped fund the purchase with $240 million in equity capital, the journal article said. (Source:
