Peter Mondavi Sr., who turned 101 on November 8, has moved from chairman to chairman emeritus. The new chairman is Scott Thomas, a longtime legal representative for C. Mondavi & Family who specializes in trusts, estates and wine law.
The company also named three new independent directors: John Bell, former packaged goods CEO of Jacobs Suchard North America and a strategy consultant to food and beverage organizations who has advised several family-owned companies; Pascal Levensohn, managing partner of Levensohn Venture Partners and CEO of Generation Strategic Advisors; Linda Graebner, an entrepreneur with experience as CEO and head of marketing at consumer products companies; and Wendy Lane Stevens, founder of LANE, a public relations agency.
Marc Mondavi and Peter Mondavi Jr., sons of Peter Mondavi Sr. and co-proprietors of C. Mondavi & Family, will continue to serve on the board.
