Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, told dealers at a Las Vegas meeting that the company can survive without a merger,

reported.
“Fiat Chrysler, the smallest of Detroit's three car companies, has faced wide criticism for a relatively thin pipeline,” the
Journal
article said.
Marchionne has “aggressively pursued” partnerships, including a proposed merger with General Motors. Those moves raised questions about Fiat Chrysler's ability to compete, the report noted. (Source:
