Ivanka plays key role in Trump's Doral bid




The Trump Organization has made a bid to buy Florida’s Doral Golf Club Resort and Spa for $170 million,

the

Wall Street Journal

reported.

The deluxe resort, which has been in bankruptcy protection since February, is being sold by a hedge fund and landlord Winthrop Realty Trust. Trump is the “stalking horse” bidder in a future auction for the Doral, according to the report.

The

Journal

article said Trump’s daughter Ivanka, 29, was one of the lead negotiators with Paluson and Winthrop. She and her brothers Eric, 27, and Donald Jr., 33, have been responsible for the company’s hotel management division. (Source:
