Post Holdings Inc. has completed its $1.15 billion acquisition of MOM Brands Company, the Minnesota-based maker of Malt-O-Meal and other cereals,
the
St. Louis Business Journal
reported.
Malt-O-Meal had been owned by descendants of founder John Campbell for 95 years. The company changed its name to MOM Brands in 2012.
MOM Brands also makes Frosted Mini Spooners, Golden Puffs and Cinnamon Toasters. Its 2014 sales were $760 million, the article said. (Source:
