Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney surprised an audience of about 1,000 people who attended a customer appreciation dinner hosted by Freightliner Trucks at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia on Oct. 19.
McCartney's wife, Nancy Shevell, is an executive at New England Motor Freight, and she and several other family members were in attendance. The company – which is based in Elizabeth, New Jersey – is owned by Shevell's father, Myron.
