Sulzberger scion takes new role at N.Y. Times




Arthur Gregg Sulzberger is taking a leave from the

New York Times

metro desk to become editor in charge of a new ideas task force, according to a memo from

Times

executive editor Jill Abramson that was

made public

by media blogger Jim Romenesko.

The task force will “think up and propose new ways to expand our news offerings digitally,” Abramson’s memo said.

Sulzberger is the son of

Times
