Transitioning Your Business from Generation to Generation

The program, to be held at the Alfond Inn in Winter Park, Fla., is part of the Family Enterprise Leadership Series, presented by Rollins Crummer Graduate School of Business in partnership with Banyan Global Family Business Advisors. The new series of exclusive workshops aims to bring together owners and next-generation members of family-owned and -controlled enterprises to share and learn from real-life challenges and solutions in an open, interactive and intimate setting.

This workshop is also open to non-family business executives sponsored by a family member.

Topics to be covered include:

• Wealth transition planning: ownership structures, estate planning and strategies for passing ownership to the next generation

• Leadership succession and transition: next-generation development and the process and timeline for leadership transition

• Decision-making structures and processes: governance structures and decision-making frameworks and processes to support the family in making decisions together in the future

The day-and-a-half-long workshop will include lectures, case study reviews and interactive group discussion facilitated by Banyan Global.
