The assets of Vance Publishing Corp. are being sold off to three separate buyers: Farm Journal Media, Bobit Business Media and CCI Media,

Farm Journal Media will acquire Vance's agriculture and produce assets, Bobit will buy Vance's beauty portfolio and CCI will purchase Vance's woodworking assets. The buyers will acquire Vance's print and digital magazine titles, live events and data products, the article said.
“The announcement marks the end of Vance Publishing, a multimedia company founded in Chicago in 1937,” the

report said. The article reported that chairman and CEO William Vance, son of founder Herbert Vance, will retire after the deal closes.
