Benefits of a Delaware Trust: A Valuable Vehicle for Business Owners and Their Families

Join Glenmede’s Linda Manfredonia, Delaware Regional Director and President and CEO of The Glenmede Trust Company of Delaware, and John McCabe, Chief Fiduciary Counsel, along with David Shaw, Publishing Director, Family Business Magazine, for a discussion of how business owners and their families might benefit from a Delaware trust.

Trusts are highly effective vehicles for the transfer of wealth and can help business owners and their families meet estate planning and tax-minimization goals. Choosing the right state to establish a family’s trust can have a significant impact on the ongoing management of the trust and the tax savings that may be achieved over time. With its favorable trust and tax laws, Delaware offers a high degree of customization and flexibility in the design and administration of a trust.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

  • The different types of Delaware trust structures and their unique benefits
  • Protecting assets using trusts: Delaware offers strong statutory protection for assets held in trust.
  • How Delaware trusts can be used to help minimize tax obligations.
