Purpose & Social Impact: The Changing Landscape for Family Enterprise

Please join Truist Wealth’s Bill Lyons, Director, Center for Family Legacy; Oscarlyn Elder, Co-Chief Investment Officer; and Truist Securities’ Kristin Watkins, Director, ESG Advisory and Intra-industry Coverage; along with David Shaw, Publishing Director, Family Business Magazine, to learn how businesses are capitalizing on the strategic opportunities in ESG/ sustainability to reduce risk and increase return, how families are finding common ground across generations to align their values with all of their shared assets and more about the many opportunities to amplify your impact.

Today’s business and family leaders are facing unprecedented pressures to proactively address social and environmental issues. In recent years we’ve seen a global pandemic; new public awareness about race and gender; gun violence; a mental health crisis; and floods, drought, wildfires and global food scarcity. Family enterprises are, not surprisingly, leading the way in finding solutions and turning challenges into opportunities. The changing landscape is creating new prospects in both business and family life to create social impact and find purpose.
