Roger Ailes, chairman and CEO of Fox News, has become less visible at the company as 84-year-old Rupert Murdoch, whose family controls 21st Century Fox and News Corp., has begun attending Ailes’ daily executive meetings, “where some of the most sensitive decisions about running the channel are discussed,”

article said some Fox executives interpret Murdoch’s presence at the meeting as a sign that he “is preparing for a future where the 75-year-old Ailes is no longer in the picture.”
