HALEY HUTCHISON-QUICK, 34
Third generation
Infinity Foils Inc. – A UEI Group Company, Lenexa, Kan.

Haley Hutchison-Quick started working at Infinity Foils Inc., a UEI Group company, in 2005 after school and during holiday and summer breaks. Infinity Foils offers durable colored foils for do-it-yourself projects and commercial packaging and printing. The UEI Group companies supply and manufacture foil stamping and embossing products for the graphic arts, social stationery, printing, packaging, labeling, plastics and textile industries.

Haley attended Kansas State University, studying hotel and restaurant management with a minor in business. After graduation, she began working full-time in the customer service department. She was promoted to vice president of Infinity Foils in 2019 and works alongside her father, the current president. Her current role is multifaceted; she oversees the customer service department and various operational and sales functions and develops strategic plans.

Haley serves as the secretary of the Hutchison Family Engagement Committee and helps to plan the annual family retreats and various family activities. In addition, she is personally responsible for the quarterly Hutchison family newsletter.

“Haley recently became part of the ownership group for UEI Group Inc., following a stock gift from G1,” says her cousin Ashley Hutchison, UEI Group’s CFO. “As a new owner, she is getting familiar with the various complexities of sharing ownership with her grandparents, father, aunts, uncles and cousins.

“As one of the family’s first mothers working full-time in the business, she is helping to break down old norms about a woman’s place in the working world — keeping the balance between family and work and proving you can do it all! Haley brings to the business and ownership group unwavering optimism and heart, qualities that are much needed in a heavily male-dominated family and industry. She faces and overcomes the many challenges of working closely with family and continues to shine bright while doing it.”

“I truly love working with my family — grandparents, aunts, uncles, father, and cousins,” Haley says. “They have all assisted in my growth and knowledge both within the company and personally. While I know I do have big shoes to fill from both the G1 and G2s of the family, I continuously feel encouraged and supported in my roles here within the family business and family governance. This only builds my passion for the printing industry and success of the Hutchison family.

“I am extremely proud of my family and the company that has been built over the years. As a third-generation owner, I only hope that I can make the Hutchison family proud by leading and succeeding in what previous generations have done before me.”
