
The Collins Companies announced the completion of a planned leadership transition. Founder Brian Tuohey transitioned day-to-day leadership to his children, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The Tuohey siblings have assumed key executive roles: Kala Tuohey-McDonald as president and chief executive officer, Sean Tuohey as chief operating officer and Mary Tuohey-Fahy as chief financial officer. In conjunction with the family transition, longtime leader Paul Andruszkiewicz has shifted from president to executive vice president of sales.ย
The Collins Companies is an independent industrial distributor of pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) and engineered specialties serving the New England and Upstate New York markets. Founded over 100 years ago, the company is one of the oldest PVF firms in the industry.

Mars, Incorporated, the fourth-generation, family-owned global food and pet care company owned by the Mars family, has named Marc Carena as global president of Mars Petcare. Carena previously served as regional president for Mars Petcare Europe and brings extensive experience across the companyโs confectionery and pet nutrition businesses. His appointment comes as Mars continues expanding its veterinary health, diagnostics and pet nutrition platforms worldwide.

W.S. Darley & Co., the fifth-generation, family-owned provider of firefighting, emergency and defense equipment, appointed Lee Wise as president, effective Jan. 1, 2026. Wise, previously the companyโs chief financial officer, becomes the first non-family member to assume the presidency in the companyโs 118-year history. He succeeds Paul C. Darley, who served as president for 30 years and will continue as chief executive officer and chairman of the board. The leadership transition follows a decade-long succession plan designed to balance professionalization with generational continuity. Wise brings prior experience at Rockwell Collins and Brunswick and has earned the support of the Darley board, management team and fourth-generation family members active in the business.
As president, Wise will oversee day-to-day operations, innovation initiatives and strategic growth across Darleyโs $1.3 billion global platform serving first responders and military organizations.

Stephen Gould, a third-generation, family-owned global packaging and supply chain solutions provider, has appointed Justin Golden as chief executive officer. Golden, a G3 member of the founding family, succeeds his father, Michael Golden, who will transition to the roles of strategic advisor and chairman of the board. Justin previously held senior commercial and operational roles within the business, helping expand its international sourcing capabilities and technology-enabled packaging solutions.

Guthrieโs, a second-generation family-owned chicken finger restaurant chain and franchising company, has appointed Tom Carr as president and chief executive officer. Carr succeeds Joe Kelly Guthrie, co-owner of Guthrieโs. With more than 25 years of leadership and marketing experience, Carr joins Guthrieโs from the fast casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick.
Guthrieโs was founded in 1965 in Haleyville, Ala. Today, the brand operates more than 70 locations across 12 states.

Van Metre Companies, the Northern Virginia-based, family-owned real estate development and homebuilding firm, has appointed Mike Dunleavy as chief executive officer. Dunleavy succeeds Rick Rabil, who is retiring after nearly two decades as CEO and more than four decades with Van Metre Companies.
Founded in 1955, Van Metre Companies is a second-generation, multi-division real estate organization involved in residential development, homebuilding, land development and investment properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Acme Smoked Fish Corp., has appointed Rob Snyder as CEO. Snyder succeeds Eduardo Carbajosa, who has retired following nearly two decades of leadership with the company. Snyder has spent the past six months leading strategic planning and operational alignment across Acmeโs U.S. headquarters and international operations. He previously served as the companyโs chief people and sustainability officer for nearly five years and, before joining Acme, was president of the Island Institute in Rockland, Maine.
Acme Smoked Fish is a fourth-generation, family-owned and -operated smoked fish company based in Brooklyn since 1906.
