Bill Fisher, a son of Gap Inc. founders Don and Doris Fisher, has assumed the seat on the company’s board formerly held by his father, who died in September,
the
San Francisco Business Journal
reported.
Bill Fisher’s brother, Robert, has served on the board since 1990. Doris Fisher is an honorary lifetime director.
Bill Fisher worked at Gap for 15 years, starting in 1984. He left in 1998 to start private equity firm Manzanita Capital, the journal article said. (Source:
