Louis Dreyfus chair, Frank McCourt in talks on sale of football club




Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, chairwoman of Louis Dreyfus Commodities, is in exclusive talks with Frank McCourt, who wants to buy French football club Olympique de Marseille,

the

Financial Times

reported.

The deal is said to be worth €50 million, the article said.


Louis-Dreyfus had announced in April that she wanted to sell her majority stake in the club.


McCourt sold the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team in 2012 for $2 billion.
