The Newhouse family’s American City Business Journals (ACBJ)
has acquired
Streetwise Media, a digital media company geared toward young businesspeople in Boston and Washington, D.C.
ACBJ is an unit of the Newhouses’ Advance Publications. Streetwise operates BostInno in Boston and InTheCapital in Washington. Streetwise will remain a separate and independent unit and will continue ot be based in Boston.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Earlier this year, ACBJ launched digital-only business journals in New York and Chicago. (Source: Bizjournals.com, Nov. 16, 2012.)
