A Rodale spokeswoman told Kelly that Maria Rodale “will be returning to a more active role in the day-to-day management of the company.”
Schulman had been in his position at Rodale since October 2013.
A report in

a media trade publication, noted that Maria Rodale had run the company for about four years after Steven Pleshette Murphy stepped down from the role of president and CEO in 2009.

report noted that Rodale has been trying to expand into e-commerce and earlier this year revamped a flagship publication,
