White Castle president Lisa Ingram participated in a January 27 ribbon-cutting ceremony to open a new location of the iconic burger chain on the Las Vegas strip,

reported.
The new restaurant is located in the Best Western Plus Casino Royale, on Las Vegas Boulevard across from the Mirage casino. “The brand fits well with the space,” Ingram told the
Review-Journal
.
According to the report, the Herbst family, who own the Terrible Herbst Inc. gasoline and convenience store chain, approached the Ingram family, who own White Castle, about opening in the city. The Herbst family is a partner in the 5,200-square-foot space in Casino Royale, the article said.
Two other burger chains, Smashburger and Shake Shack, also recently opened in Las Vegas, the report noted. (Source:
