Liliane Bettencourt's appeal of guardianship is denied




A French appeals court denied L’Oréal heiress Liliane Bettencourt’s request to have her guardianship status changed,

Bettencourt, 89, had appealed a guardianship judge’s October decision to put her under protection of her grandson Jean-Victor Meyers. Her assets were put under the guardianship of Jean-Victor Meyers; her daughter, Françoise Bettencourt Meyers; and another grandson, Nicolas Meyers, the article said.
