Linda Bourn
Senior Vice President and Practice Leader, Family Enterprise Risk, Alliant Private Client
Linda leads the Family Enterprise Risk Practice at Alliant Private Client. She specializes in guiding generational families through a holistic risk assessment to help them align risk exposures with an insurance strategy. This includes experience advising family office and private trust company boards on directors and officersโ liability and evaluating insurance for complex family holdings held in trusts, LLCs and partnerships. Linda led the development and release of the firmโs Family Enterprise Risk Index Study of 145 U.S. family-owned companies.
Linda recently contributed chapters on family risk management in the Globe Law & Business book, โFamily Offices: The STEP Handbook for Advisorsโ as well as in the book โWealth of Wisdom: Top Practices for Wealthy Families and Their Advisorsโ published by Wiley.
Linda holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from California State University at Long Beach. She holds the Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising from Family Firm Institute and their Global Education Network (GEN).
Linda serves as Risk Management Domain Chair and Faculty at the Ultra High Net Worth Institute. She is a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute and a member of Collaboration for Family Flourishing.

Kama Moseley

David Shaw

David Shaw is the publishing director for MLR Media. He also co-founded and serves as conference director of the Transitions conferences, the Private Company Governance Summit and Family Business Legacy.
David writes frequently on governance issues for public and private companies, and develops and maintains close relationships with multi-generational family-owned businesses. He is married, with two grown children.
